Complete the Tutorial
You should set aside 15-20 minutes of uninterrupted time to walk through the next few sections and learn the basics of the game. This will save you a LOT of time later!
Introduction
The game introduction sets the stage for who you are and what needs to be accomplished.
Character Types
There are three types of characters you can play the game with
- Zeros - free to play, every player gets one, are the shadow of Drifters.
- Drifters - to be unlocked during the game.
- CyberBrokers - NFTs that you can own and play as characters.
Create your Zero
Each player account can have multiple characters. Every account starts with a free to play Zero character. Review the five Classes available and choose one.
If you own CyberBrokers, you will be able to add them as characters later. We recommend skipping the Wallet Connect step for later.
Tutorial
The tutorial missions will now start. These will help you learn the basic mechanics of the game. The more you read during them, the more of the game you will understand later. Please take your time completing them.
Tutorial Navigation
During the tutorial you will be looking to take actions by clicking on items in the scene. You can click the object itself or its icon.
If you need to leave the current location, yellow exclamation marks will help guide you where to click to accomplish that.
Leveling Up
There is a lot to understand about leveling up your character's Affinities that involves game strategy decisions. For now, use the Recommended option until you have time to fully understand the this game mechanic and come up with your game strategy.
Fast Codes
These can be used to speed up actions. You start with enough to Fast Codes to use throughout the tutorial. The decision to use them or save them for later is yours!
Tutorial End
To complete the tutorial you need to start the “Mirage of Chroma” mission which is located at The Dreamweaver location in The Bazaar region of The Dreamlands world. The Mission Log in your Bracer will look like this when that is accomplished.
